About this Course
During the Google UX Design certificate program, I completed projects that demonstrate my expertise in UX design. For my projects, I chose to develop an app and a responsive website for a public art museum. These projects aimed to advertise exhibitions and events, provide museum information to patrons, and enable visitors to schedule their visits. As a New Jersey native, I selected the Newark Museum of Art as the focus of my project.
Newark Museum of Art App Design
Below is an overview of my process for creating paper wireframes, digital wireframes, and a low-fidelity prototype. This link leads to a low-fidelity prototype of the app. The user flow guides you from the home screen to selecting an event and purchasing tickets, as well as accessing the featured events article, user profile, and cart.

After completing a usability research study with five participants, I created a mockup employing the various themes from the study. This link will take you to a high-fidelity prototype that implements the themes from the usability study. The user flow will take you through purchasing a ticket for the Women LatinX: Artists in Focus exhibit.
Newark Museum of Art Responsive Website Design
I utilized the Newark Museum of Art’s (NMOA) color palette, logo, and images from their website to ensure brand consistency. By incorporating actual events, I was able to create a realistic and relevant user experience.
Using the app design as a foundation, I designed a responsive website. I employed the graceful degradation approach, starting with the largest screen size to ensure a seamless transition across different devices.
I designed a user flow to take customers through purchasing a ticket for the Women LatinX: Artists in Focus event on a computer and an iPhone.
